HouseMaster was a national home inspection franchise with 300 locations in North America when they approached Bear Icebox in 2017. The problem was HouseMaster needed a PR reset and refresh—they hadn’t worked with an agency for years and had limited brand awareness due to a lack of outreach in key media outlets. They were in need of more media coverage and to position their president as a thought leader in the real estate industry in both regional, trade and national news publications.
We developed a comprehensive thought leadership campaign and platform to position HouseMaster’s president in real estate, home maintenance, franchise, and management news outlets and developed a plan to reinvigorate the brand through an aggressive PR campaign focused on educating the masses about home inspections and how to keep properties safe and secure.
